Dhimasteady, the vocalist who's been at the front line of Rslide Ska and Artaxiad Gamelan Orchestra since the group's inception, has provided most of the lyrics and tone for the group's so far. The musician, whose full name is Dhimas Bayu Adhitya, was born in Solo city, Central Java, Indonesia on 13 May 1992. From an early age, Dhimasteady felt drawn to music, listening to Radiohead, Muse, Bob Marley, Smokey Robinson, Alton Ellis that he heard being played around him. His father liked playing records by The Animals, The Hollies, Led Zepppelin, Engelbert Humperdinck, Panbers, Koes Plus, and Beatles.
